1: Silverstone

Experience the thrill of the British Grand Prix circuit

Your day at Silverstone begins with a safety briefing and coaching from professional instructors. Once you’re suited up, you’ll drive the same track that hosts the British Grand Prix, either the full Grand Prix layout or the National Circuit, depending on your experience package. Wear comfy clothes and flat shoes; helmets and race suits are provided.

This legendary circuit hosted the very first Formula One World Championship race in 1950 and remains the pinnacle of British motorsport. The Grand Prix Circuit is fast, flowing and physically demanding, while the National Circuit offers a punchy, beginner-friendly version.

Fun fact: Silverstone was once a WWII bomber station – the original runways still crisscross the infield.

2: Brands Hatch

Fast, flowing and famously fun

Indy Circuit: 1.198 miles (1.929 km) • Direction: Clockwise • Corners: 6

Difficulty: Beginner – INTERMEDIATE

Height/Weight: 5’2”-6’6” (157 – 198cm) & under 18 stone (114kg)

 Location: Brands Hatch Circuit, Fawkham, Longfield, Kent. DA3 8NG

At Brands Hatch, your day includes a safety briefing, one-to-one instruction, and multiple sessions on the nimble and technical Indy Circuit. After gearing up, you’ll take on its undulating corners – ideal for developing confidence and pushing performance. Comfortable clothes and flat shoes are recommended.

A favourite among British drivers, Brands Hatch began as a grass-track bike circuit in the 1920s. The Indy loop is compact, thrilling and ideal for all abilities, especially if you’re new to track driving.

Fun fact: Brands Hatch has such steep gradients it’s nicknamed a “rollercoaster for cars.”

3: DONINGTON PARK

Race at a British motorsport icon

Difficulty: INTERMEDIATE – ADVANCED

 Location: Donnington Park, Castle Donnington, Derby, DE7 2RP 

Donington offers an exhilarating track experience on its full, flowing GP layout. Expect a full briefing, coaching, and multiple stints behind the wheel. It’s one of the most rewarding circuits to drive, with wide corners and long straights to let the car stretch its legs. Wear flat shoes, comfortable clothes; all safety gear provided. 

This track has seen everything from Formula One to MotoGP and remains a driver’s favourite thanks to its fast, technical nature. Ideal for those with some prior track time.

Fun fact: The famous Craner Curves are named after Fred Craner, a motorcyclist who helped establish the track in the 1930s.

4: BEDFORD AUTODROME

A playground of purpose-built race circuits

Gran Turismo Circuit: 3.6 miles (5.79 km) Direction: Anti-Clockwise Corners: 18

South, West, North, East Circuits: Various lengths between 0.67 – 1.7 miles

Difficulty: All levels (Beginner – Advanced, depending on configuration)

Height/Weight: 5’2”-6’6” (157 – 198cm) & under 18 stone (114kg)

 Location: Bedford Autodrome, Thurleigh Airfield, Thurleigh, Bedfordshire, MK44 2YP

Designed by ex-F1 driver Jonathan Palmer, Bedford Autodrome is a haven for safe, high-speed driving. Depending on your experience, you’ll drive one or more of the South, West, East or North circuits – or you can tackle the impressive 3.6-mile Gran Turismo layout. The day includes a full briefing, gear and guidance. Wear flat shoes and comfortable clothes. 

The track is set on a former RAF airfield, so there’s loads of runoff and no barriers — ideal for pushing limits without pressure. It’s perfect for beginners and advanced drivers alike.

Fun fact: The site’s airfield history still echoes and many of the layouts follow original taxiways and runways.

5: THRUXTON

The UK’s fastest race circuit — pure adrenaline

Thruxton Circuit: 2.356 miles (3.791 km) Direction: Anti-Clockwise Corners: 11

Difficulty: ADVANCED

Height/Weight: 5’2”-6’6” (157 – 198cm) & under 18 stone (114kg)

 Location: Thruxton Motorsport Centre, Thruxton Circuit, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8PW

Known for its high-speed straights and sweeping bends, Thruxton is not for the faint-hearted. You’ll receive a thorough safety briefing and instructor support before taking to the track. It’s all about smooth lines and bravery through the corners. Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes; safety gear is provided.

Originally an RAF base, Thruxton became a permanent circuit in the late 1960s. It’s widely considered one of the quickest tracks in the UK — with few heavy braking zones, it’s all about commitment.

Fun fact: Thruxton is so fast that most racing series run a special low-downforce setup just for this track.

6: Castle Combe

Quaint countryside — with a sting in its tail

Difficulty: Beginner – Intermediate

 Location: Castle Combe Circuit, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 7EY

Set in Wiltshire’s countryside, Castle Combe offers both Indy and GP layouts, with tight corners and high-speed stretches. After a full briefing and instruction session, you’ll take the wheel for several track sessions. Just bring comfortable clothes and flat shoes, we’ll supply the rest.

Despite its peaceful setting, Castle Combe is fast, narrow and exciting to drive. Built on a former RAF airfield, it’s been thrilling drivers since 1950. Ideal for confident beginners and intermediate drivers looking to level up.

Fun fact: Castle Combe bans single-seaters from racing – it’s one of the few circuits in the UK with that rule.
